Perimenopause and Menopause Care:

Ingredients: Organic herbs of chasteberry, black cohosh, burdock root, licorice root, nettles, rehmannia, dong quai, GF alcohol 

Chasteberry - boosts the pituitary and hypothalamus to boost progesterone production while balancing the estrogen/progesterone ratio. Excellent for when cycles are starting too soon or breakthrough bleeding is occuring during perimenopause. Progesterone is the "feel good" relax hormone - this will offset mood swings.

Black cohosh - keeps estrogen at a more stable level, as estrogen dips and spikes in perimenopause and then operates at a low level after menopause. Black cohosh contains estrogenic properties. Also reduces hot flashes, vaginal dryness and other symptoms associated with low estrogen. 

Burdock Root - Liver cleansing is crucial for hormone balance as it expedites excess hormones from the liver.

Licorice Root - has been shown to support the digestive system and combat stubborn weight gain during perimenopause and menopause. It is also contains adaptogenic properties.

Nettles (leaf) - Extremely nutritive, containing many minerals to strengthen the body from the cellular level. Also supports the digestive tract and eliminates excess mucous that hinders proper assimilation of nutrients.

Rehmannia - A top adaptogen and herb in TCM. Excellent at treating "difficult cases" of perimenopause and menopause. Supports mood, energy levels and immune system.

Dong Quai - Used for thousands of years in Chinese medicine to support blood flow, nourish the blood, and balance hormones. Can help with menstrual irregularities in perimenopause, mild hot flashes, pelvic circulation, and mood. Especially supportive if there’s fatigue, low energy, poor circulation, or dryness.
