Goldenseal is known as a bear brine herb and is used for colds, flu, dyspepsia, gastritis, sinus and bladder infections. It is especially useful for diarrhea and chronic excess mucus in the bowels,  especially when someone has lost the efficiency of absorbing nutrients and eliminating wastes. 

Contraindicated in pregnancy. Do not use Goldenseal for longer than 1 to 2 weeks at a time and not in large amounts.

Primary uses: bladder infection, bronchitis, fungal infection, kidney infection, pneumonia, Scarlet fever, staph infection, strep, throat infections, urinary passage inflammation. 

Usnea is a common lichen known as the parentheses herbal antibiotic ( in laboratory trials it has shown powerful inhibitory activity against strep, staph and pneumonia infections. In Chinese medicine is used for headache, irritation, cough.

1-2 dropperful in water 2-3x daily
