Garcinia has been shown in several studies to reduce appetite, by creating a feeling of fullness and reducing overall cravings. 

Garcinia contains Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA) which primarily works by inhibiting the enzyme ATP-citrate lyase, which prevents the conversion of carbohydrates into fat. It may also help with fat loss by promoting fat oxidation and filling glycogen stores.

HCA is believed to increase serotonin levels in the brain. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter involved in mood regulation, and low levels are associated with depression.
